A PHENOMENON ugly and not without danger linked to the intensification of high water

The anomalous intensification of high water in recent years, with levels mostly likely to engulf almost all of Venice, is causing alongside an increase in problems and difficulties arising from the increasingly high water, an ugly phenomenon and not without dangers, before the intensification of the latter, was limited to the foundations of the lowest parts of the city 's root growing algae on the surface of even those foundations which, although located in areas considered relatively high in Venice and intended not to end up submerged in each arrival of high water, are finite, however, unusually long submerged in recent times (ENZO PEDROCCHI)
